On March 29, 2016, on the occasion of the state visit of the President of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Xi Jinping to the Czech Republic, the Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic Mr. Dan Tok and the Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China Mr. Feng Zhenglin signed a bilateral agreement on mutual validation of ultralight aircraft type certificates.
The Czech F AIR flight school received the certification to train Chinese Airlines pilots from the hands of Mr. Wang Zhiqing, the Vice-Administrator of the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration of China, on October 12, 2016. This makes F AIR the only flight school in Central and Eastern Europe and just the second flight school in Europe authorized to train Chinese transport pilots. There are only 17 schools in the world (mostly in the United States and Australia) with this kind of authorization.
