Czech national pavilion at the biggest Chinese airshow
By the main corridor and symbolically right between the presentations of the Russian Federation and the United States of America, this was the location of the Czech national pavilion at the biggest airshow in China – China Airshow 2017 which took place from November 1 through November 6, 2016 in Zhuhai, Southeast China.
Czech national pavilion was arranged by Sino – Czech Aviation Association in cooperation and with financial support of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and CzechTrade agency. The official Czech delegation to the air show was led by Mr. Vladimír Bärtl, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
Besides prestigious location surrounded by the world brands such as Boeing, P&W, Cirrus, Cessna, etc., Czech pavilion was honoured to welcome particularly symbolic and extremely important visit of Mr. Feng Zhenglin, Administrator of the Civial Aviation Administration of China, who symbolically toasted with the Czech beer.
Statistics to conclude with – 700 exhibitors from 42 countries, 151 airplanes as part of the exhibition, 135.000 professional visitors and 230.000 general public visitors. The red ALTO aircraft displayed by the Chinese Wanfeng Aviation Industry Company at the forefront of the Czech pavilion met expectations and its photos ended up in title articles published by Chinese media as well as selfies of thousands of Chinese visitors.
