The first Shark aircraft made in China – production line in Cangzhou completed final assembly

On August 30, 2021, the production line in Cangzhou finished final assembly of the first Shark aircraft and so completed successful technological transfer to the People’s Republic of China. The technological transfer coordinated by the Sino – Czech Aviation Association was launched in 2019; the aircraft was brought in China by Hebei Jianxin Group and in 2020 the production line was officially located in the Czech – Chinese Industrial Park of Cangzhou City in Hebei Province. The project has stimulated new vitality in the aviation cluster of Hebei Jianxin Group, extended its production capacities and encourage the company to develop its production chains within the field of aviation.

Shark ultralight is the fastest aircraft in its category which has repeatedly broken the world speed records, was awarded as the “best new aircraft” (by Flieger) or “the aircraft of the future” (by Aerokurier) and received many other prestigious international awards. The aircraft co-developed and co-produced by Czechia and Slovakia stands out with its original design, perfectly smooth shapes utilizing shark body bionics, excellent aerodynamic characteristics as well as first-class comfortable cockpit – it is at the technological cutting edge of its category.

All this contributed to the fact that Shark aircraft very soon gained favor of aviation enthusiasts and clients from all over China. The Czech-Sino Shark (Cangzhou) Aircraft Manufacturing company successfully concluded a contract on sale of five aircraft to Liaoning Peacocks aero club in November 2020 and agreement on strategic cooperation with J-STAR aero club from Fujian Province in December of the same year. In June 2021 the factory in Cangzhou was visited by the delegation of Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province which signed an agreement on representation in South-West China together with contract on acquisition of six aircraft.
